Parking for Guests
Parking Services is pleased to accommodate your department's guests.
Definition
Guests are defined as individuals who visit your office, department or faculty on an occasional basis. An individual employed by or enrolled in a course offered by the University cannot be considered a guest.
Payment Options
Bookings can be made for both attended and non-attended facilities. With attended facilities, the kiosk attendant will be provided with the names of your guests or the name of your function.
For attended facilities, your office may choose to pay for parking for your guests, in which case the following payment methods are accepted: online booking
Guests may pay themselves using VISA, MasterCard, cash, debit or parking coupon.
Unattended Facilities
Guest parking can be booked for unattended facilities. In this case, indent payment must be used and the licence plate of each vehicle must be submitted with the application. This allows Parking Services to properly identify each vehicle as a guest booking.
In situations where a location would normally be unattended, an attendant can be provided by Parking Services upon request. The minimum cost for this service is $45 ($15/hour x 3 hours). Advance notice must be provided a full seven (7) business days prior to the event to ensure adequate staffing arrangements.
Requirements & Time Limits
All bookings are subject to space availability. For Parking Services to guarantee your bookings, they must be made no later than 3:30 p.m. one working day prior to the arrival of your guests. As parking space on campus is at a premium, cancellations for daytime bookings (those that fall between 6:45 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.) must also be done one working day prior.
Larger functions of 10 or more guests may require special arrangements. If you require guest parking for large groups, please contact us as early as possible. We will make every effort to accommodate your needs.
